How to prepare Hot Cakes (pancakes)

Ingredients (for 3 pancakes)
• Hot cake mix: 150 g (½ sachet)
• Egg (size M): 1 egg (50 g)
• Milk (or water): 100 ml

Step 1

Put 1 egg and 100 ml of milk (or water) in a bowl and mix well.
Add 150g of hot cake mix and mix 50 to 60 times until a smooth batter is obtained.

Step 2

Heat a pan over medium heat, then remove it briefly from the heat to let it cool slightly.

• Lightly oil the pan if it is made of cast iron or iron.
• Non-stick pans or griddles generally do not require oil.

Step 3

Reduce to low heat.
Pour about 1/3 of the batter (for a pancake) into the pan, letting it fall from a little higher up.

Cook over low heat for about 3 minutes, until bubbles appear on the surface.
Flip the pancake and cook for another 3 minutes until fully cooked.
