Sprinkle the contents of this packet over your duck. Rub to cover the entire duck, then leave to marinate for 1 hour. Preheat your oven to grill at 190°C, then leave to brown for 30 minutes.

Roast Duck Recipe: 1. Rinse a medium duck and pat dry. 2. Sprinkle contents of this packet over duck. Rub to coat entire duck, then marinate for 1 hour. 3. Bake duck at 375 F or 190 C for 30 minutes. Turn duck over and brown in oven until skin is nice and crispy.

Instructions for use

ROASTED SPICED DUCK (LOBO)

Make delicious roasted duck at home with a beautifully colored, aromatic skin, just like in Asian rotisseries.

Preparation steps:

Prepare the duck:

Wash and thoroughly dry a whole duck (about 1.5 kg) or duck parts (legs, breasts).

Marinate:

Dissolve the contents of the sachet (50g) in about 120ml of water. Brush generously over the inside and outside of the duck. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours (ideally overnight for deeper flavor).

Roast:

Preheat the oven to 190°C. Place the duck on a rack. Roast for about 45–60 minutes (depending on size), turning halfway through.

Finish:

Brush with remaining marinade or a bit of honey 10 minutes before the end for a glossy, lacquered finish.

Serve:

Let rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with jasmine rice or noodles.

Crispy skin:

For extra crispy skin, let the duck marinate uncovered in the refrigerator.

Dipping sauce:

Use the cooking juices collected in the tray to make a rich dipping sauce.
