Instructions for use

  • Mix the mung bean starch with water until you get a smooth mixture. Add food coloring according to your preference.
  • Heat over low heat, stirring continuously. When the mixture begins to thicken, slightly increase the heat.
  • Continue stirring until the mixture becomes cooked and translucent, for about 15 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into a noodle press and press steadily to form strands directly into cold water. Maintain a distance of about 20 cm between the press and the water surface. Let stand for about 5 minutes, then drain.
  • Prepare the syrup by mixing sugar and water, then heat until the sugar dissolves.
    Serve the noodles with the syrup and coconut milk.
